IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DOWNLOADING PICTURES

Our primary location for photo storage on the internet is Webshots. More than a few of you have complained to me about not being able to download the pictures that appear in our blog and on our slideshows. I am including these detailed instructions to help with that problem.

DOWNLOADING PICTURES ON OUR BLOG:

STEP 1 - Click on the picture. Your internet browser will then direct you to that picture's webpage on Webshots. The screen will look something like this...



STEP 2 - RIGHT Click on the link that says "Full size" (located in the upper righthand corner of the screen and circled in yellow in the picture above.

STEP 3 - Select "Save Target As..." from the list that appears after you complete step 2.

STEP 4 - Choose the location where you would like to download the picture and click "Save."

DOWNLOADING PICTURES FROM SLIDESHOWS ON OUR BLOG:

Instructions are the same as above except that you replace Step 1 as follows...

STEP 1A - Click on the link BELOW the slideshow (see the an example circled in yellow on the screen image below. That will take you to the slideshow's Webshots album page.



STEP 1B - Click on the picture from the Webshots album that you would like to download.

Continue as above with STEP 2

NOTE - YOU DO NOT have to have a Webshots subscription to download pictures. If Webshots tries to tell you that you do, you have made an error. Backtrack to Step 1 and follow the directions carefully.
